Licensed California Fiduciary, Elder Advocate, career retail brokerage manager, and U S Navy Vet, Dave has many years of experience in finance, in both corporate and non profit worlds. A Duke University graduate  (BA English/History) 1962 he simultaneously received a commission in the United States Navy followed by completion of training at the U S Naval Submarine School. During his active duty period, 1962-1966,  Dave was deployed on three highly classified patrols in the Western Pacific. Following training on Wall Street, Dave’s retail brokerage career included long term management of a major West Coast branch office as a Senior Vice President. Motivated to continue his consulting/management experience with hands on personal contact, Dave became a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary in 2018.  

Parallel with his business vocation,  Dave has actively volunteered on various Boards and Foundations. Those include The Charles Armstrong Foundation-Menlo Park, CA, Boys and Girls Clubs of the San Francisco Peninsula (President 2 years), Church in the Forest-Pebble Beach, CA, Pacific  Repertory Theatre Board-Carmel, CA, Carmel Bach Festival Board (President 4 years)-Carmel, CA, Carmel Bach Festival Foundation (President 6 years)-Carmel, CA, and Legal Services for Seniors Board-Seaside, CA.
